Super Shopper!

I am so excited! I saved $8.78 on toothpaste & shampoo! Daniel thinks I'm such a goof, but I LOVE a good sale :-) I'm using this new site www.couponmom.com & have saved a ton on groceries.
P.S. There was a 80% sale at Goody's Saturday...Guess who got some super cute clothes! :-)

The Truth

I am sooo pumped for the Red Sox game tonight! As you can probably tell I am a big fan. Anyways, they already beat the Angels in the ALDS and now they are playing the Tampa Bay Rays in the ALCS. The first game was last night and the Red Sox won 2-0. In the National Leauge series the Dodgers are playing the Phillies. The Phillies have won the first 2 games...I am sure Kennedy is sad....regardless of my many attempts to brainwash Kennedy to like the Red Sox I think she has turned against me :)......she has been asking to watch the Dodgers play lately....go figure....maybe it is because Manny Ramirez was traded to the Dodgers....she keeps saying "let's go Dodgers, let's go!" As you could probably imagine my heart is broken :) I have spent many years (ok ...so maybe 3+ the time in mom's belly..haha) teaching and molding Kennedy to like the Red Sox....and I guess I have failed. Hopefully one day she will turn back to the truth.

Here Kennedy is following this old man around at Tire Kingdom :-) She kept calling him "Mee Maw" LOL I had to tell her that he's a "Pee Paw" because he's a boy & he's not HER PeePaw

Kennedy is so cute :-) She's been saying "I'll be wight back ina minute" & "I'll be back ina secont" & quoting this book "God Gave Us You" a lot lately. The book is about a polar bear momma & poppa having a baby. Kennedy quotes "and bigger...and bigger...and BIGGER" all day. It's the part in the story where the Mommy is talking about her belly :-) I think we've read the book every day for the past 2 weeks! I love moments like these :-) It makes all the tantrums & times she's colored on my walls not so bad. (BTW-our front door is a lovely shade of highlighter pink!)

Exciting News!

I am SO excited! Daniel got offered a job @ FNBB about a week ago & got it :) It's such a blessing! I gotta give y'all some background info....Daniel and I had been looking for a house in Hammond/Ponchatoula area for A WHILE & couldn't find anything. The houses they did have needed repairs/in shady neighborhoods/we just didn't feel 'right' about. We were getting frustrated. I wanted to move to Denham Springs (better schools, closer to the temple), but it didn't seem reasonable with Daniel's job at Whitney so close to home. Well, totally out of the blue one day Daniel got a call from an old boss offering him a job in B.R. (Heck Yeah!) AND we'll be able to build a house in a new subdivision in Watson a mile from PeePaw Russ (my dad). This was definitely a faith building experience :-) Heavenly Father knew what was right for us, it just all came on His time table :-) Here's the link for the house renderings (what it will look like on the outside)
