We had such a fun day today! We went to my dad's company picnic and enjoyed bbq, icecream, great weather, family, friends, and fun games. Daniel and my dad won the water balloon toss (Go Team!!!) and both went home happy with a Subway gift card enough for 2 lunches this week....or maybe one family lunch ;-) In the paddleboat race pictures you can see how awesome Daniel and Ryan were doing! They were so far ahead! Daniel also showed us his basketball 'skills' I didn't know he had! Lol I love spending time with my family :-D

I left for an hour and a half to go to the store while Kennedy was SUPPOSED to be napping and this is what I came back to. =c( Poor Daniel just cleaned up her room. She saw my face and said, "Just 'elax...it okay" I think I'm burning more calories cleaning up after Kennedy than working out lately...

We had so much fun today! Kennedy and I picked up Daddy at work for lunch and went to the Mall of Louisiana. There was free chick fil a, hand massages for mommies, coloring pages, face painting, free carousel rides....A TON!

Barbie Swing

Normally while I'm doing my makeup in my bedroom Kennedy will dig through my lipsticks and eyeshadows, but Wednesday she wanted to play with her new Barbies she got from our neighbor -who, by the way, is SO sweet! She's been going through her collection of Barbies & giving Kennedy all the duplicates...So anyway Kennedy got creative with a bra of mine that was hanging out of my dresser and created a 'swing' for her....I'm so glad I had the camera right next to me!

Tonight when we were putting Kennedy to bed (way late) & Daniel & I told her she didn't need pajama pants & that her shirt would work just fine. She immediately said, "Well Lamby has pants on" (her stuffed lamb) LOL Daniel & I were like, "Did she just try to reason with us?" So she went to bed with pajama pants...

The past week or so I have been so stressed out w/house stuff & all the stuff being erased on our computer & Daniel has been SUCH a sweetheart! He surprised me with roses, pizza, & chocolate Thursday night. Also yesterday I had a horrible stomach flu & after I went to bed he cleaned the WHOLE apt. just like I would have. (I'm very picky, so I was impressed!) He even lysol'd the doors so germs wouldn't spread (he picks on me for doing that!) & he made dinner. So to show my appreciation- a big blog thank you!!!

Here's Daniel putting together a 'cubicle' for Kennedy's toys :-) Kennedy's pretending to hammer on her blocks like Daddy's hammering on the cubicle. Roses Daniel bought me :-)

I didn't think it was possible, but I do love Daniel more & more as the years go by. I can't think of anyone more perfect for me :-) I love you Daniel!

Kennedy was 'supposed' to be taking a nap today...Well I went to check on her & this is what I found.

If you look real close you can see a primitive (LOL) drawing of a face. What in the world do you do in a moment like this?! I wanted to laugh & cry all at the same time. We never have a dull moment with Kennedy, that's for sure :-)

I rode with Daniel to work that day (my car was in the shop & I needed his..Big Mistake on a snow day) Anyway, this guy was standing in the back of his truck on the interstate & built this snowman! Pennies for eyes & sticks for arms. Daniel & I were dying laughing :-) The snow day Kennedy & I swerved off the interstate & landed in the median in snow. Thank goodness for the kindness of strangers. :-)

She looks so stinkin' cute! I'm so glad that we finally got it done. The cut makes her curls look a lot better b/c it's layered a little bit. I was so proud of Kennedy. She sat so still & chatted the whole time. She's so used to me fixing her hair every day :-)

What a great way to spend Valentine's Day?! Daniel & I went to a Satellite Education Event at the movies in Baton Rouge this morning. It was a wonderful morning with inspiring messages, education, & information about all the amazing products the company has developed for the spring. The other day I put index cards all around the house labeling things with their spanish translation for Kennedy to learn. Well, she really loves the word 'cocina' -spanish for stove. LOL She's been saying that her name is Cocina & that she has a 'friend' (imaginary) named Cocina!
Hee Hee! Kids say the funniest things. Another thing she's been doing lately-We'll be out running errands, etc & she'll start to introduce herself "Hi, what's your name?" "My name's (Cocina, Shaqweeshwa, a random name she made up) It's nice to meet you...& she'll shake their hands! Last thing about Kennedy-she's been wearing panties!! Today is Day 12 of all panties. Daniel & I feel like superheroes (Ha Ha!)
